The story begins in 2004 when co-founders Randy Carson and Michael “Moe” Click started Extended Family Services after seeing the need for senior adults to remain at home when life changes. Issues such as health changes, the loss of a spouse, ability to drive, etc. can have drastic effects on a person's ability to live a happy and productive life.
Both co-founders had a long track record in healthcare with many years of clinical, regulatory, administrative and operations experience. They found out quickly and first hand how much need there was in our community. They were not only new business owners, but they had to provide care, perform accounting, coordinate care and anything else it took to provide quality services to our clients. They witnessed first hand many dynamic family issues that could create the need for personal care assistance. The goal was and continues to be to provide assistance in any shape and form to solve issues and help our clients "live life on their terms".
The population and market has changed drastically since 2004 providing more options than ever to have your needs met and stay at home.Technology has developed significantly in the past few years to allow us to offer solutions such as telemedicine, motion detectors, medication assistance, automated reminders, etc.
If you or a loved one has a need, please give us a call to discuss what we can offer to help "live your life on your terms".
