Our
ultimate service is to provide you and your family with someone
they can trust for assistance with activities of daily living.
Therefore, we get all types of requests. Below is a listing of
different service requests that we have fulfilled.
|
Meal Assistance
When meals
seem to be the biggest obstacle your loved one faces, our
“Extended Family Member” can provide services based around the
important meal of the day.
Out of Town
If you need someone to care for a loved one while you have to
be out of town, our “Extended Family Member” can provide that
assistance. This type of service can provide daily peace of
mind and the knowledge that someone locally is available in case
of an unexpected need.
Initial Recovery
After certain medical procedures, a physician will require that
their patients have someone with them at home for 24 – 48 hours.
Our “Extended Family Member” can provide non-medical care and
assistance to you and/or the rest of the family to make sure you
are on the road to recovery.
Regular Visits in a
Facility
If your loved one needs extra assistance or
stimulation while in a facility, our “Extended Family Member” can
provide them with individual attention on a regular basis.
Mind Stimulation
If your loved one needs mental stimulation from a new face, our
“Extended Family Member” can provide individual attention on a
regular basis. Activities such as discussing current events,
reading, playing games, working puzzles, reminiscing, or even
listening may make an overall improvement.
Outings
If your
loved one is unable to go on certain outings that have been
commonplace in the past, our “Extended Family Member” can
accompany them. This could include activities such as walking in
the park, craft groups, library visits, club meetings, etc.
Housekeeping Assistance
You provide the cleaning supplies
and the guidance. We supply someone you can trust to assist in
the upkeep of your home. Housekeeping assistance services are
based on hourly rates and can be done on a one-time or continuing,
regular basis. This service is a great option for beginning the
living assistance process and getting used to the feel of having
outside help in your home.
Household Maintenance Assistance
We provide someone you can trust to
regularly perform routine home upkeep tasks that have become more
difficult to accomplish. Tasks such as changing light bulbs,
changing batteries, cleaning or changing filters, identifying
safety issues and detecting home problems are just some of the
examples included in this regular service. This service is a
great option for beginning the living assistance process and
getting used to the feel of having outside help in your home.
Mail Sort / Bill Pay Assistance
We provide someone you can trust to
relieve the stress of sorting through the mail. Regular monthly
bills and statements combined with junk mail can cause confusion.
Some older adults may tend to overpay, underpay, misplace,
complicate and even get scammed. Our service assists them with
payment and organization so other family members can easily
monitor the situation. This service is a great option for
beginning the living assistance process and getting used to the
feel of having outside help in your home.
Information Organization
We provide someone you can trust to
help you organize important personal information for emergency
situations or for end-of-life purposes and the tools to store
them.
